Description: Ride match service for those interested in carpool or vanpool for commuting. Personal cars are used for carpools. Vanpools use vans provided by. Some vanpool vans are lift equipped. Regional Ridematch is brought to you by King County Metro in cooperation with other carpool/vanpool service providers in the Puget Sound region.
Areas Served: Puget Sound area. Covers 116 northwestern counties including King, Pierce and Snohomish counties
Eligibility: Carpools are made up of a group of people who live in the same neighborhood and travel to work in the same area

Sea-Tac Airport

Description: Operated by the Port of Seattle, Sea-Tac Airport is the main airport for the region. King County Metro and Sound Transit provide bus service to the airport. Special Access
The airport is fully equipped with special access facilities to provide all travelers -- as well as meeters, greeters and airport employees -- with a safe, convenient means of getting around.

Description: People with mobility limitations may qualify for reduced passenger tolls on any route. Those who also require attendant care while traveling must obtain an endorsement to allow their attendant to travel free as a passenger. Vehicle fares are not discounted.

Medicaid Travel Brokers - DSHS

Description: In partnership with the Department of Social and Health Services, an agency in each county coordinates transportation to and from medical appointments for low-income residents on Medicaid assistance. Contact the provider in your area for more information.

Description: In partnership with the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), Hopelink coordinates transportation to and from medical appointments for low-income residents on Medicaid assistance. Hopelink also operates Dial-a-Ride Transit (DART) under a contract with King County Metro, which offers variable routing in some areas within King County.

Volunteer Transportation

Description: Volunteers driving their own vehicles provide transportation to seniors 60 years of age and older living throughout King County to medical and other essential appointments.
