     A non profit, bio-medical research and educational center devoted to improving the outcome for people who suffer a traumatic brain injury.  Their web site provides easy access information about ANC's research and educational programs, as well as information about the acute care for coma. Also includes information about and sample chapters of the medical Guidelines developed by ANC.      The American Board of Professional Neuropsychology (ABPN) recognizes and encourages the pursuit of excellence in the practice of clinical neuropsychology. ABPN's primary objective is the establishment of professional standards of expertise for the practice of clinical neuropsychology. This site provides general membership/application information. The entire examination process is provided in outline form.
American College of Radiology  - American College of Radiology
The principle organization of radiologists, radiation oncologists, and clinical medical physicists in the United States. This site includes a very comprehensive overview of the College. Amnesia Research Laboratory  -  University of Illinois
The Lab attempts to understand the organization of human memory and the neural systems underlying memory using a cognitive neuroscience approach. Current projects in the Lab include neuropsychological studies of patients with memory disorders, eye movement monitoring, and functional neuroimaging. Includes a membership directory, activities, and training programs in North America. The Beckman Institute: Cognitive Neuroscience Group University of Illinois
The members of the Cognitive Neuroscience Group are concerned with how cognitive and emotional functioning is implemented in the neural architecture of the human brain. Biofeedback Foundation of Europe  -  Biofeedback Foundation of Europe
The Biofeedback Foundation of Europe (BFE) welcomes all practicing health professionals, as well as recent graduates in a health related field. BFE membership is free to all workshop participants. This site provides organizational information, including registration information. Visitors may find the online Library and listing of R&D Projects useful. Although the site is well organized, we found some of the information to be outdated.

Center for Neuroscience at U.C. Davis  -  University of California, Davis
The UC Davis Center for Neuroscience draws from a wide variety of resources to conduct its teaching and research programs. Contributing to this interdisciplinary approach are Center faculty members, students, and collaborators who represent 13 academic departments and sections on the main campus and a number of off-campus sites. A useful site for visitors who are interested in applying to the Neuroscience doctoral program at UC Davis, though some of the information was found to be outdated. http://neuroscience.ucdavis.edu/

Center for the Study & Treatment of Movement Disorders  - NYU Medical Center 

          The NYU Center for Movement Disorders (CMD) is staffed by a team of world renowned experts from the clinical neurosciences. This multidisciplinary approach allows these professionals to provide the highest quality care for patients with Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, as well as other types of movement disorders. This site provides useful information on CMD to both patients - how to contact a CMD representative and how to schedule an appointment and physicians - what types of surgical procedures are offered. Centre for Clinical Research in Neuropsychiatry  -  University of Western Australia
The Centre for Clinical Research in Neuropsychiatry (CCRN) focuses on the aetiology, epidemiology, course, and outcome of major psychiatric disorders in adults and children. The CCRN has a special interest in genetic and family studies. The CCRN is a World Health Organization collaborating center. Updated regularly, the Web site offers all the information you'll ever need on this unique treatment method for ADHD/ADD, anxiety, depression, and a host of other disorders. A well-designed and easy-to-navigate site.

    MGH Neuropsychology Lab   -  Massachusetts General Hospital
    This laboratory is a clinical and research facility. The research group studies language processing in normal subjects and in patients with central nervous system disease. Researchers use computer-based neuroimage analysis techniques to localize lesions in patients with language deficits and functional neuroimaging to identify areas of cerebral activation associated with language processing. This site provides information on current projects and contact information.
